Soil Sampling

IPF soil sampling provides accurate and reliable nutrient maps for your farm.

All sampling is carried out on foot and our team of experienced samplers use a handheld GPS units to ensure they stay within the zone boundaries.

Within each zone 24 sub-samples (at six inches) are taken to ensure a representative analysis result.

Results are automatically uploaded to the IPF Toolbox for the creation of variable rate nutrient management plans.

Two levels of analysis are available:

Standard

• Phosphorus (P)
• Potassium (K)
• Magnesium (Mg)
• pH

Detailed P, K, Mg, pH plus

• Calcium (Ca)
• Boron (B)
• Copper (Cu)
• Zinc (Zn)

• Iron (Fe)
• Sulphate (SO4)
• Manganese (Mn)
• Molybdenum (Mo)

• Cobalt (Co)
• Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC)
• Organic Matter (optional)

Laser texturing can be added to either of the above options to provide accurate information on the percentage of sand silt and clay in each soil zone.
